A beautiful kitchen with Shaker Cherry cabinets and Giallo Veneziano countertops and a full backsplash. We choose a rosy ceramic floor, with a design that wasn’t too busy, to complement his cabinets.

Do you want to know what other cabinets go well with Giallo Veneziano?

    Hi Lionel
    Hi Lionel,

Is it OK to use Giallo Veneziano for countertops while my kitchen cabinets are reddish. Floor tiles and walls are both dark beige, almost caramel color.

Would it be better to choose another type granite?

Thanks for your help. I don’t want to make a mistake I will regret for many years.

I am interested in your Giallo Veneziano granite and want to know where your distributors are on Long Island, NY. My zip code is 11743. We are considering it for new cherry cabinets that will be finished with a light stain. Thank you for your help.

    Good morning,
I am in the middle of attempting to complete my kitchen. My finace started remodeling the kitchen in what is now our home. He bought the house and began work on the kitchen before I met him. He chose beautiful cherry cabinets, stainless appliances, and green counters (uck), but work kind of fell off after that. After I moved in, we have begun to work on it again. I am looking for backsplash ideas. I can’t afford to do the counters and backsplash like the photos above. Our floor tile is in a staggered pattern in a light peach/taupe color. Should we mimic that pattern? What colors would you recommend? I would like to finish the kitchen before the wedding next July and it just seems like time is flying by and i am tired of living in constant constuction.

    Good morning, Sheila!

I’m sorry to hear about the constant construction, and I hope this advice will help your remodel go smoothly. The following is the best bang for the buck:

    * Definitely get a granite countertop, because it gives a sense of class that no other countertop can match, dollar for dollar
    * Go for a four inch matching granite backsplash
    * Do not mimic the floor tile, because you want your walls to be a seciton unto themselves, not merely an extension of the floor
    * Optional: Add tile of your choice to the wall, or simply paint it

    Hope that helps, Sheila!

    Best wishes,
