Maple Cabinets for a High Ceiling

Jimmy’s one of our favorite people, and we were very happy to design his kitchen. Our design incorporated staggared wall cabinets to use his high ceilings to his advantage. The kitchen feels cozier because the ceiling looks closer with great decorations.

We have sugar maple cabinets and an emerald pearl countertop installed currently. However, we are stuck regarding whether to use a dark or light floor tile. What did you use in this build? We are worried that a light floor won’t balance out the much darker countertop. What do you think?
I usually suggest a tile that complements the countertop, so a tile that was darker than the cabinet, and not darker than the countertop, would match your Emerald Pearl countertop well.
In this build, Jimmy chose to keep his white tiled floors. Jimmy has has a lot of natural sunlight that pours into his kitchen and his decorations keep your attention. The white tile complements his cabinets and gives a refreshing contrast to the countertops.
I hope your search is going well!
